SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Matthew ("Matt") Druckman joined the firm in 2006 as a Principal in the Litigation Support and Business Valuation practice.
Mr. Druckman became a certified public accountant in 1984. With over twenty years experience in the accounting profession, his work with clients currently focuses on:
- Litigation support
- Due diligence assistance
- Bankruptcy, insolvency and receivership support
- Accounting and taxation issues
Mr. Druckman's litigation support services for plaintiff or defense counsel include:
- Lost profits calculations
- Commercial damages modeling
- Analysis of the economic losses claimed in personal injury, wrongful death, or wrongful termination matters
- Fraud investigations
- Expert report preparation
- Testimony in depositions and trials
Mr. Druckman has handled various aspects of general business disputes, employment-related cases, construction delay claims, wrap-up insurance programs disputes, as well as recovery actions in bankruptcies and receiverships.
While serving as the Controller for a group of exclusive Fendi boutique stores, Mr. Druckman participated in lease negotiations and build-out construction on three stores. He improved cash management reporting and internal inventory control. Other responsibilities included maintaining banking relationships and the importation of goods and materials to the United States.
Mr. Druckman takes an active interest in new business development. He interacts regularly with civic and business organizations throughout South Florida.
Prior to joining Berenfeld Spritzer, Mr. Druckman was a Senior Manager with Grant Thornton, LLP and a Principal with Rachlin Cohen & Holtz, LLP.
