SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Vincent Persiani is a Principal in Berenfeld, Spritzer, Shechter & Sheer's Audit and Assurance group. His practice is focused in the areas of manufacturing, retail, distribution, service, construction and multi-national transactions.
As a former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of Finance and Administration with more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Persiani is an expert in assisting clients with a full range of financial and accounting transactions, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
- Joint ventures
- Contract negotiations
- Risk management
- Financing arrangements (bank loans, debt or equity)
- Corporate and transaction structuring
- Multi-location accounting and reporting
An important part of the M&A process is an in-depth due diligence review. Mr. Persiani is available to help rapidly growing companies with due diligence, including financial statement analysis; revenue and customer evaluation; creditor analysis; cash flow projections; tax structuring, planning and analysis; and post-acquisition integration planning.
His experience also includes SEC engagements, operations and management advisory for both public and private firms. When a private company is contemplating an IPO, Mr. Persiani and the Audit and Assurance team can assist in auditing the required financial statements and collecting the data needed for SEC reporting purposes.
Prior to joining Berenfeld Spritzer, Mr. Persiani served as a manager at Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was responsible for providing audit and consulting services.
Mr. Persiani is available to discuss general business topics, accounting, financial matters including budgets and projections, and tax compliance.
